It’s the most painful time of year, and it’s here, it’s the Blogmas Slump yeah!
It’s happened again! I am once again caught out with a post and writing one on the fly in the pub out with friends!
I do have an idea up my sleeve however, the event doesn’t take place until next week. Until then, I’m stumped.
On the other hand, I still want to keep writing. So here’s what’s happening right now at this second.
I’m on my phone, at the pub with my friends writing up a quick blog post to put out and ensure that I keep up with Blogmas.
Is it the greatest content? No.
However, I’ll look back in a year on this post, and I’ll probably cringe. But hopefully I’ll smile because I’ll remember the memories from tonight.
The cab ride here was actually a lot of fun. The driver wore a Santa hat and started telling me about his Christmas Party plans, we’d shared places in common we’d been over the years and it was a very engaging conversation.
From my hometown to this pub it’s about 10-15 minutes, so that was really nice.
I’m at the pub, have been given Christmas cards and I’ve already laughed so much, and I know I’ll laugh so much more before the night is over.
The greatest part is that every person here has a smile on their face, purely from the company here tonight.
If you take anything away from this post, let it be this:
If you do one thing after you’ve read this, arrange a day to meet up with the people you love and just have a great night full of laughter. I’m telling you, nothing can beat it.
