“Positive Mind. Positive Vibes. Positive Life”

This can mean anything you want it to mean.

Of course there’s ‘Positive Mind’ but what makes you feel positive about life is completely subjective. For example one person may love having a glass of wine at the end of the day or going out and getting drunk at the end of the week – what makes them smile makes me cringe because I don’t like alcohol.

Friends and family have a lot of effect on us, there are numerous times I’ve been feeling down and friends have done or said something which has completely cheered me up, that being the case we shouldn’t rely on someone else to ensure our own happiness.

Positive Mind. We spend so much time thinking negatively, at least I do. I don’t do it consciously, don’t get me wrong! But it’s obvious that the vast majority of my days are spent talking or listening to complaints, which is fine because I believe venting is probably one of the best things we can do in those situations however, I’m also beginning to realise there is a difference between venting and allowing it to take over my day (or week!).

So, today think positively. Whatever life throws at you try and put a positive spin on the situation. If you can’t, that’s OK. It’s OK to vent, it’s OK to cry and it’s OK wallow for a while but do your best to not let it affect the rest of your day or week.

If you find that it is then surround yourself with loving people who support you, but ultimately only you can change your frame of mind and so it’s down to you to take on that responsibility.

When you put positivity out into the world it comes back to you, it vibrates off you and makes you and everyone around you feel good!

There are times that being angry or annoyed is a part of life (I’m being realistic here) but don’t spend too long being there, it’s so much effort.

If we change our frame of mind one thought at a time we will thank ourselves for it in the future.
