…And so it begins.
Today is the 1st January 2018 and I’m starting My Resolution Pact.
So, what do I hope to accomplish in the month of January? If you’ve read my first post about my resolutions for 2018, then you’ll know that January is dedicated to Eating Healthier.
I’ve chosen this as my first to focus one as it’s a main priority for me. Every year I say that I will and every year I manage for a little while before I stop for whatever reason. Be it willpower or otherwise, the reason is clearly never good enough that I can remember. I’d like to sustain this resolution throughout the entirety of 2018, which is another reason why I’m starting in January.
Something you should know about me, I’m a huge procrastinator. So this shall be interesting.
How do I plan to achieve the goal of eating healthier? Well, I’ve re-started my progress on the Slimming World website. I used to attend group however, I couldn’t get on with it. Don’t get me wrong, my consultants were lovely, the volunteers were always so supportive and no-one was the least bit judgemental.
Your weight is never revealed to anyone in group, if you’ve gained they don’t reveal how much however, they will reveal how much you’ve lost – as a sort of celebration. It wasn’t the right fit for me, so I’m attempting to do this online… again.
The Slimming World website has so many fantastic recipes. I’ve watched my sister and a friend do Slimming World and really succeed, so I plan to give it my all.
I’ll check in weekly with how I’m doing, throughout the resolution process. I’m very tired today however, I’m really excited about the month ahead.
